His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. – 2 Peter 1:3-4
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28
Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act. – Psalm 37:5
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. – Philippians 1:6
Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. – Psalm 107:6
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. – Psalm 84:11
When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. – Psalm 34:17-19
“…for he gives to his beloved sleep.” – Psalm 127:2
My take: after this trial is over, God will give me sleep because I am His beloved.
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. – Hebrews 11:1
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. – Psalm 73:26
Trust in God.
You know without a doubt He is real. You know the Bible is God breathed by all the prophesies that came true, Jesus’ miracles, and most importantly the evidence for Jesus’ resurrection. Also, you experienced Him first hand when getting saved, the supernatural rescue through the dream (innocent murdered and His son telling me the code), band speakers, and now the supernatural encouragement from God on answering my prayer through this suffering. It would be infinitely more difficult to prove God is not real in light of all this evidence. Who better to surrender all and entrust with everything than your loving Heavenly Father? So rest assured and be at peace because you are in absolutely secure and perfect hands.
Give me Jesus or give me death.
